As a mother of 3 adopted multi-disabled children, I realized that I needed an outlet. Something that was just for me.  I created a beaded necklace and hammered a piece of copper as a pendant. A woman in a store I was shopping in asked about it and offered to buy it.  A jewelry business was born. 

My studio is my happy place, a solace, a place I can disappear into my creating. 

All of my jewelry is created by my own hands from my own designs. 

 As a  jewelry artist, I struggled  finding a good supply of affordable cabochons and gemstones.  Disappointed in so many suppliers, I set out to buy in a larger quantity so I could at least keep some that were great. I traveled to gem shows, meeting suppliers and hand choosing lovely cabs and gems.  I ended with plenty to spare and decided it was time to help others find the same quality.  My aim is to rise above what is the norm for top quality!   You can rest assured that I will provide the best that I can find.  I am careful to buy from responsible sourced materials. 

I would like to welcome my daughter Megan, who now works along side me. She works on my Facebook group Tamterra Gems , my Facebook page Tamterra Jewelry and Gems, and Instagram.  She also does most of my shipping prep.
